How’s your 2019 New Year’s resolution of getting back in shape working out for you?
If you’re on track, that’s fantastic news!
However, if you are still struggling to shed the holiday weight, Neue would like to reassure you there’s still hope.
After all, it’s never too late to start!
Why not give the ‘One Punch Man’ challenge a go?
100 push-ups! 100 sit-ups! 100 squats! Run for 10 kilometres!
Every single day!
Yes, you read that right.
For those who are unfamiliar, ‘One Punch Man’ is a Japanese manga superhero who desires to be challenged, but is basically too strong. (He kills anything with one punch, thus the name!)
The ‘One Punch Man’ workout is entirely cardio and body weight resistance training. The appeal of this workout is pretty easy to see. After all, it is simple; anyone can do it, and it can be done anywhere!
Earlier this month, a 38-year-old Singaporean man by the name of Sean Seah shared his experience with the ‘One Punch Man’ workout.
At the time of writing this article, that video had been viewed over ONE MILLION TIMES with more than 10,000 shares.
We here at Neue were absolutely fascinated with his progress!

According to Sean’s video, he eased himself into this gruelling workout by starting at “Level 5”, which entails 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, 50 squats and a 5-kilometre run.
Fast forward 7 days later, he lost 2.8 kilogrammes and reduced his visceral fat rating as well as body age!
On Day 17, Sean upped the ante by pushing the workout to “Level 7” (70 push-ups, 70 sit-ups, 70 squats, and a 7-kilometre run daily).
By Day 23, he went into “beast mode” and was at “Level 10” (100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10-kilometre run daily).
Amazingly, Seah was able to stick to the challenge for the entire 30 days!
So what’s the end result, you ask? We’ll let the photo below do the talking …
Suffice to say, Sean’s transformation was amazing, to say the least! Not only did he lose 5kg, but he managed to decrease his body age to 36 and visceral fat rating to 8.5.
If anyone ever tells you that watching anime is just wasting time, you can just share them this story and say, “Nuff said”.
Towards the end of the video, Sean recommends others to give it a try, starting from level two or three.
Have Your Say!
