This is not a drill! Westlife, the 5 – (wait, one of them left) – the 4-man Irish-pop boy-band, with angelic vocals known to put even the fiercest of beasts to a hearty-halt, has announced a comeback. *cue music for Westlife’s 1999 hit “Swear It Again”*

Early this year, in an interview with the ‘downtown-boys’, World of Buzz sat down with them to ask the question everyone’s been dying to ask, “So when are you guys coming to Malaysia?” (or maybe Brunei, please?)

During the couch-hogging interview, between the sprint of questions, Westlife’s Nicky Byrne (spilled-tea) hinted that they would specifically “be going there (Kuala Lumpur) within the next four-five months.”

Recently, Westlife tweeted an Asia tour, one of the locations plastered onto the poster was Kuala Lumpur, but fans to their surprise found – 2 back-to-back concerts at Kuala Lumpur.

With 90’s big-time boy-bands such as Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees who’ve called it quits many years ago – only to miraculously rise up from the ‘grave of the ’90s’“a blast to the past” is what you’re probably feeling right now!

Don’t be ashamed, as I’m currently rocking my head front-and-back to Backstreet Boy’s “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” as I’m writing this.

No Bryan McFadden!

Westlife continued on without him, but Brian McFadden (seen here at the left-hand side) also continued on without them. Brian launched his solo career in 2004 and released his debut solo single “Real To Me”. He had reasonable success as a solo artiste but his fame dwindled down after his controversial track, “Just The Way You Are (Drunk At The Bar)”, was released. (Source: Extra.ie)

Now a question for Neue readers!

Which 90’s boy-band (or girl band) are you hoping would make a comeback?
