What’s Big BWN Project? Well, it’s a Bruneian brand spearheading entrepreneurship, youth development, women empowerment and economic and sustainable development in line with Wawasan 2035 to create opportunities to empower the locals and youth in various fields for entrepreneurship and community development – by creating platforms to build their brands, gain market validation through exposure, grow and sustain the local businesses.
She is also the founder of Womennovation Brunei and the co-founder of the Brunei Womenpreneur Network – 2 different local women empowerment initiatives to enhance and build on women’s potentials.
Fisha also founded the Brunei Young Entrepreneur Project focusing on students to build and develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
“I launched the ‘Tempatan’ initiative last year to encourage the local community to spend on local businesses,” she told Neue earlier this week at her future Community Development Centre in Kampong Bolkiah.
When asked why she wanted to meet the Neue team here, she said, “This centre has been something that I’ve been trying to establish for the last 3 years, and I’ve finally gotten the opportunity!”
To date, Fisha has led over 180 projects highlighting local small businesses and talent, contributing to the growth and sustainability of the entrepreneurship scene and youth development in Brunei Darussalam.
