Welcome to another Hoco Agency edition of our popular #Neue9to5 interview segment.

Under this segment, you’ll get to know the champions of Hoco Agency, the ones who wield their pens like swords, and laptops like shields against our mortal enemies: deadlines & mind blocks! They lead the Hoco charge, but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to have a good time as well!

This week, we’ll get to know Dee, a Media Associate of Hoco Agency. She’s an animator who’s also striving to become a better contemporary dancer. The ENFJ 1995 baby enjoys singing and drawing for fun on the side as well.First 9 Questions:

#1. How would people describe you?

I’ve asked a lot of people for their first impressions of me.  The answers I received were “approachable”, “friendly”, “social butterfly” and “smells nice”. And even after getting to know me, they still see me the same way 😀

#2. If you could make a 20-second phone call to yourself at any point in your life present or future, when would you call and what would you say?

I would “tag” @child-me and tell her to stop doing crazy things!

#3. What’s the best piece of advice anyone has ever given you?

Wow! This is gonna be a bit deep … so bear with me! Haha!

When I was at my lowest a few years back, I had a great support system.

Lots of great advice … but this one stuck with me the most: “How many times have you told me that you’ve past your limits and can’t do it anymore? And how many times have you made it through? You’re growing, you’re trying and I’m proud of you. Don’t give up and keep going at your own pace. Just don’t overdo it.”

#4. What is something you’ve done but never want to do again?

Haunted house. Never. NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN. I hated everything about it!

#5. Eliminate one thing from your daily schedule, what would it be and why?

Does driving count? I like long drives and would zone out while looking outside the window. Hmm … come to think of it … I can’t exactly do that while I’m the driver! Or can I? Haha!

#6. In another life, what do you think you’ll be doing?

Probably pursue dancing from a young age and grow up to be a professional dancer. But life is unpredictable, and I don’t have the ability to choose what to be, so I might end up as a rock in my next life.

#7. How would the 10-year-old you react to what you do now?

Probably amazed! Hehe! I mean I never would’ve guessed I’d grow up to be an animator, while studying contemporary dance at the same time? I’m happy with where I am right now!#8. A personal rule that you wish to never break?

Don’t be stingy.

#9. Trade places with someone for a day, who would it be?

A BTS make up artist … because … why not?

Last 5 Questions:

#1. Would you rather have to read aloud every word you read or sing everything you say out loud?

I hated reading sentences out loud during primary school! Guess I’ll just live with being stuck in a musical! Haha! (To be honest, this isn’t so bad if only I weren’t the only person singing everywhere I go!)

#2. What’s the most daring thing you’ve done?

@child-me, it’s your time to shine! I was a little daredevil then and kept putting myself in tough spots! Haha! But I won’t name them cause they were too silly! Instead, I will just say that I recently had to perform (contemporary dance) for a group of foreign military bunch and their families. It was nerve wrecking and that was daring enough!

#3. If you could be a cartoon character for a week, who would you be?

Aizawa Sensei from ‘Boku No Hero’ … probably! Haha! He’s just so cool and chill.

#4. What is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?

I don’t do well with anything horror, so I don’t watch much horror. BUT, I did watch the  first Conjuring movie with my cousins. AND … if you know the 3.07am thing from the movie, I’d like to add the creepy fact that the night after my cousins and I watched, all four of us woke up at 3:07am that night! So yeah, a huge NOPE for me!

#5. What weird musical instrument would you like to play?

Guitar! It’s an instrument you can play while singing. I had previously tried to learn piano on my own, but I kind of gave up after a few months! Haha!
