We’ve all heard the health benefits you can get from donating blood. But did you know that aside from that, blood donors in Brunei Darussalam will get to enjoy “privileges” depending on how many times they’ve donated?
Earlier this year, we posed a question to Neue readers: “If I were to ask you to name some superheroes right now, what would you say?”
Blood donors came up on top as the unsung heroes.

Providing support to these heroes are Chong Kim Moi, the Head of Blood Donation Centre, and her 30-strong team at the centre.

In their own words, the World Health Organization (WHO) said that blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person – the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components – red cells, platelets and plasma – which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.
So what are YOU waiting for? Are you ready to save lives?
